Bryan University is excited to share that Carlos Baradat, an instructor in our paralegal department, has been recognized as a 2025 Super Lawyers Rising Star and a top eDiscovery attorney in Florida!
This distinction is awarded to less than 2.5% of eligible attorneys in each state every year. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Rising Star selections are attorneys who are younger than 40 or who have been in practice for 10 years or less.
“We are thrilled to have Carlos as an instructor in our program,” said Christine Leavitt, Paralegal Program Director. “Not only is he an exceptional attorney, but he brings that same level of excellence and energy into the classroom. His expertise in AI and eDiscovery has improved our curriculum, allowing us to offer courses that reflect the latest advancements in legal technology and ensure our students remain at the forefront of the legal profession. I’m incredibly proud to work alongside Carlos and to witness the impact he’s making — not only on our students and our program, but also across the state of Florida.”
Baradat practices in Naples, Florida, where he focuses on eDiscovery, immigration, litigation, and bar admissions. Click here to learn more about his practice.
“The future of law is here, and it’s transforming how we teach, learn, and practice,” Baradat said. “At Bryan University, we’re preparing students to lead and to meet that challenge head on at the crossroads of legal practice and emerging technology. It’s an exciting time to be in this field, and I’m proud to be part of it alongside my colleagues here at BU.”
At Bryan University, our paralegal program specializes in eDiscovery and gives students real-world experience using Relativity, the leading eDiscovery software. We’re proud to have him as an instructor at BU sharing his expertise with our students.
Join us in celebrating Baradat for this well-earned recognition!
