Teri is a Financial Aid Team Lead who has worked at BU for over two years. Teri has been a financial aid professional for over 14 years, and when the opportunity at BU came up, she was ready to research and learn more about Bryan. “I researched and loved everything I read and heard about the culture at BU. I have not been disappointed.”
Teri loves helping her students make a difference in their lives. She recognizes that at BU, she assists students in getting started or even changing their careers. To Teri, it is a great feeling to be a part of someone moving forward in their career and life.
Teri has not been disappointed working at Bryan, and it renewed her outlook on getting up for work every day. “When you feel supported and heard, respected and appreciated, it makes all the difference.” She connects with the university’s culture and appreciates that even though everyone works remotely, the management team does a lot to ensure everyone feels valued, heard, and connected. Teri admits that it is rare to find at most other places.
Teri identifies with the BU Core Value, Win Together. To her, it ties everything that everyone does together. “By working together and sharing the Win, the rest comes. None of us is an island, so it’s a must-have, in my opinion.”
Teri feels very fortunate to work with such a fantastic group of people and thinks that Bryan is great because of the leadership.
