She wasn’t sure where to start, but then she found BU’s program online.
“Bryan University helped me learn so many things,” she said. “Where to start, how to start, how to do marketing, how to do digital marketing. It was a great opportunity to learn.”
She said the program helped her set up foundations to build on and helped her define her goals for the future.
As a busy mom, she said learning online made all the difference for her. She especially liked that she could work on her own schedule while still having structure.
“You have the flexibility to do it on your own time but also structure, it wasn’t just a ‘here’s everything you’re going to use the whole time and do it yourself’ kind of thing,” she said.
She also said the extra services BU offers, like career advisors and academic consultants, made a big impact on her experience. She said they helped her when she struggled, and the instructors were easy to communicate with.
“Overall, it was just a great experience and a wonderful opportunity to learn everything I needed to know,” she said.
Her advice for anyone considering a program is to do what you want to do without letting struggles stop you.
“Don’t let the struggles of what you’re going through or anything stop you from reaching your destiny in your career goals,” she said. “A lot of people will be like, I don’t know if I can do it because that was me I had a fixed mindset — don’t have a fixed mindset.”
